Making Japanese sushi is an art, and traditionally takes years to master. We’re going to show you how to create beautiful sushi rolls in under 2 hours! You’ll also learn how to make the famous yakitori skewers and enough knife skills even a samurai would be proud.
You’ll have your own cookery station to be fully hands-on, and after you’ve sliced and rolled to your heart’s content, you’ll be dipping and devouring your wonderful creations. This class is perfect for beginners as well as those who love to cook. The class is also suitable for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Please advise the Seller of any dietary requirements prior to the class so they can prepare accordingly.
The studio does not have wheelchair access.
Morning sessions: Individual workstations for each participant
Evening sessions: 2 participants per work station. Come with a friend, or make a new one.
Age Limit: Participants must be 14 years of age or older

    We’ll sign you in and let you relax in our foodie foyer treating you to a refreshment whilst you browse our extensive International cookbook library

    We’ll lead you into our teaching arena to pop on an apron and roll up those sleeves.

    A little introduction from Anjali Pathak (a celebrity chef from London), and you’ll soon be learning the history of sushi and the tips and tricks of how to create perfect sushi rolls and yakitori skewers.

  2. Welcome to Japan a

    On your own station, you’ll be mastering the art of sushi making. Under Anjali’s guidance you’ll slice, dice, marinade and roll, learning how to transform raw ingredients into intricate beautiful Japanese favourites.

    Once you’ve handmade your very own yakitori skewers and sushi rolls, you’ll sit down in the sunlit dining area and enjoy your masterpiece.

It was really insightful ane educative experience. Being new to cooking, I was very curious about everything and learning to appreciate sushi, let alone make it was something I will always remember. Chef Anjali was delightful and really amazing in taking us through the process. It's a lot more difficult than it looks! I also learned the efficiency and speed needed (which can only come through experience and yes-patience). Since the rice is very sticky, it needs to be quickly spread out evenly on the seaweed paper before it becomes glue. I was spreading it in clumps (the reason why my sushi rolls didnt turn out perfectly round), but the chef said Japanese spend 7 years mastering it.

As I travel away from my family for abnormally long periods, I have learnt to cook for myself, but Japanese food is healthier option at this stage of life, thanks to blue bulb I now know how easy I can cook healthy food on my own and best part was I learnt it and took 3 dishes for myself! That's learning for free!
