Vaitarna Lake, near Igatpuri, is a hidden gem on the way to Nasik, very much off the beaten track and rarely visited. Making it the perfect camping spot to settle in for the night and observe the constellations and planets with a telescope.
The Stargazing activity will be carried out by experts and will continue until late night. To help you last through the cold winter night, the local team will provide a delicious traditional dinner, prepared on a rustic chulla which adds a flavour of its own.

Age Limit: Participants must be 12 years of age or older. Participants below the age of 18 years have to be accompanied by an adult.
Physical Requirements: Participant must be in a moderate fit health & be able to walk without any hindrances
Cancellation Policy: If cancellation done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded
Less than 10 days – no refund will be provided.

Meet at Dadar by 11.30 am. After a briefing session, grab your seat in our Private Bus and start the journey towards the picturesque campsite at Vaitarna.
En-route halt for lunch at a dhaba near Kasara (at your own expense). Reach base village by 3 or 4 pm.
On arrival, refresh yourself with a Welcome Drink and trek for 20 mins to the campsite at the waterfront.

Post dinner it’s the telescope time! You have the option of exploring more and more stars till late night. Or hit the sack once you are done.
Wake up to the chirping of birds witness the refreshing lake in front of the campsite. Freshen up and enjoy the beautiful view while you sip a cup of hot tea with your local breakfast.
Around 09.30 am start wrapping up the tents and pack up your bags. Time for a memorable group photo and trek back to the bus.
Around 10-11 am we will start the return journey towards Mumbai in our Private Bus. Enroute halt for lunch (at your own expense). Reach Mumbai by 5 pm.
We wouldn’t recommend this as the campsite is in an isolated area, where the approach roads have no signs or lights.
Camping is open to all age groups. Infants are not allowed on outdoor trips for health concerns.
