The campsite at, Prabalmachi village is located at a height of 1500 ft from sea level on the Prabal plateau, a part of western ghats. Which means it is high enough to keep you far away from the world. And close enough to the stars. You can choose to make your trip an adventurous one by joining the trek to the peak of Kalavantin Durg, the next day. Or spend it relaxing at the campsite with the butterflies.

The Trail is relatively difficult, you’ll need a pair of shoes with good grip for mud trails, a backpack, rainwear and at least 2 litres of drinking water.
It does get quite cold in the evening, it would be a good idea carry some warm woollen clothes and a winter jacket.
Tents with carpets on the floor will be provided on a twin-sharing basis. You will need to carry a Bedsheet/pullover/blanket/Sleeping Bag.
Basic washroom facilities will be available at the village, please bear in mind that it is a trekking activity away from the city comforts, so come prepared accordingly
Cotton garments, which are not very tight, nor so loose that you end up getting entangled in them while walking, are preferred. Avoid synthetic garments as they will not absorb sweat and not allow your skin to breathe. Avoid jeans as they can be a nightmare to carry around in case they become wet. We always recommend wearing full-length clothes.
