Origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding and dates back before 1000 A.D. It is the only branch of sculpture which is also a performance art. Origami is not merely a traditional amusement but is a scientific handicraft. Stunningly realistic models of birds, animals, insects, plants, people, geometric shapes etc. can be created by intricately folding just a single piece of paper.
Peep into the folds with a National award-winning artist with over 17 years of experience teaching origami to children and adults from various walks of life. This workshop is extremely relaxing and meditative.

Unfold a magical world
Begin with an introduction to the humongous world of Origami. A live demonstration of some simple and complex designs to get your fingers itching for some paper to fold.
Get the basics
Learn the Basic folds in origami and how to read diagrams to enable you to follow and understand the diagrammatic instructions origami books use.
Wow, that’s quite a lot
In this workshop you will learn to make 4-6 Traditional Origami models (simple to low-intermediate difficulty). This would include modular origami, StoryGami, an Origami Toy and more!
It is for everyone. The Instructor has years of experience teaching Adults as well.
