At a time when festivals are more about item numbers and loud speakers, here’s a chance to discover the real beauty of Ganesh Chaturthi. Make your very own Ganesha idol, together as a family, or a couple with natural solvable clay. Your idol is 100% recyclable, it will dissolve completely in a container of water, which can then be poured into a garden or the base of a tree, returning it back to nature.
The workshop is designed to help someone with no prior experience or creative skills to make a environment friendly Ganpati statue from scratch. Unlike something made commercially, your idol will be unique and a true reflection of what this festival means to you.

You will be provided with 100% organic clay that dissolves easily in water.
Now that you and the clay are on first name basis, you can start working on your Ganesha idol.
Making it pretty
Your Instructor will guide you with ideas and help you finish the final product, make designs and add some nice finishing touches.
Your Instructor will also show you how to embellish your idol with water-based colours, which you can do at home once your idol has dried.
